Imagination

Lucas is almost 2.5 years and his imagination is well and truly developing. Recently I was on the computer when he came into the study. He went digging through a box and found an old phone. He picked it up and told me to "say cheese mummy", as he wanted to "take photo".

When I asked him to give me a cheeky smile so I could take a photo, this was his response

He then proceeded to "talk dad on phone". I forget exactly how the conversation went, but it was something like this:

L: “hi dad”

Holds phone to me “dad wants talk to mum”
Me: “no darling, mummy is busy”
L: “ok, dad mum busy”
Pause
L: “hi dad, how are you?”
L: “what you doing?”
L: “come home soon?”
L: "you work at old house?"
